The DO40 units are versatile accent pieces that perform many functions. They are available as full height pantries, with six adjustable height pull out trays and a baking sheet flip-top storage compartment. The models shown here conceal two of the largest thermal self-cleaning ovens on the market. The model shown on the right conceals a single oven and a microwave oven. Other models are available as entertainment centers that conceal up to a 35" TV, stereo equipment, video and CD storage. Only woofers and speakers need to go else where. (unless small speakers are used)
Because its height is lower than all the other tall units, a DO40 can be placed beside a taller unit to create a more interesting composition. This lower height also makes it ideal to be used as a room divider, and backs are available for this purpose.
The DO40 can use most non-commercial ovens (up to 30") that are compatible with each other. Typically, this requires the ovens are rated by U.L. to be compatible with each other, which usually means that the appliances must be made by the same manufacturer. Microwave ovens need to have a built-in kit and must be rated to be installed above a thermal oven in a DO40-OM unit. No two single ovens can be installed one above the other.
