Letters from YesterTec's customers
1. From Vermont: A complete kitchen/great room, YT pieces # 69, 70, 71, 72, 73, 74 & 107
It's been over two years since we moved in to our renovated Vermont farmhouse and felt it appropriate to write regarding our kitchen. We could not have made a better choice.
The support and advice we received at the time of the sale was as good as it gets but realistically everyone selling a top of the line product should provide gold standard service. What sets you apart from the rest is your product. There are two types of kitchens; YesterTec and everyone else.

Your workstation concept has created a dimension in our home that no other kitchen design could come close to. The attention it receives from guests is a universal WOW! How did you ever find something like this?
The functionality of workstations is not fully appreciated until you have a chance to live with them for a while. Unlike traditional kitchens, if you don't like the original design, move the workstations and/or add to them as we did. YesterTec's furniture grade workstations will only increase in value and add significantly to the value of our home if we were to sell. I could even take the workstations with me if I were to sell my house, try that with any other kitchen!
Dave, please accept our thanks for the contribution YesterTec has made to our home, your products continue to exceed all of our expectations.
2. From Pennsylvania: A complete kitchen/family room, YT pieces # 93, 94, 95, 96, 97.
The best thing about YesterTec is that I was able to design my kitchen according to my needs, my dreams and I was never told it can't work, it won't work etc. The variety of choices made it possible to design a truly custom kitchen that flows into the main living/entertaining portion of our home. The pieces are amazingly durable, practical, functional and always lovely to look at.
When people see our kitchen for the first time they often respond by saying, "where is everything?" (Especially the refrigerator/pantry unit) When I start opening drawers and doors and they see the (Fisher-Paykel) Dish-Drawers, the cutting board, spice drawer etc… they are always appreciative and somewhat amazed.
The kitchen is the focal point of our home.

Storage is exceptionally organized. The pull-out drawers in the pantry and other pieces are a cook's dream; I actually like to cook now and have become much improved in this area (to the joy of my family)! I really believe its because of the joy (and pride) I have in being in this room! Our contractor (who found you for us!!, and my husband) can attest to this! Thanks, David
3. From New Jersey: A remodeled kitchen/family room, YT pieces # 173, 174 & 175
As a contractor, I deal with cabinets and furnishings that arrive on site with many defects and faults. YesterTec products are immaculately finished and perfectly shaped. Un-wrapping a YesterTec piece is like opening the best Christmas present you ever got. Breathtakingly beautiful and even more than you hoped for!
4. From Virginia: 2 pieces integrated into a new kitchen, YT pieces # 59 & 60
I LOVE my YesterTec! My builder and architect couldn't wait to un-wrap them. They are easy to maintain and clean. I like the idea of not having to bend or stoop to get my pots and pans. I have achieved the colonial look I wanted. I didn't want the same ordinary kitchen. My kids love to cook in my kitchen because of the convenience. I would have ordered more if I had the room. Maybe when I replace my 20 year old refrigerator. I was really surprised and delighted when David altered the furniture design to meet my needs. Even my architect liked working with David!
5. From New Jersey: An entire kitchen/keeping room, YT pieces #15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20
I undertook a huge project in the remodeling of my early 1800s New Jersey farm home. In the re-design of my kitchen I selected YesterTec to undertake this project. After meeting David Beer, he came up with some very interesting ideas to fit my unique country home.

YesterTec went to work on the design and put their creative juices to flow coming up with a design that fits so beautifully with our rustic home. The functionality of my kitchen meets with both my wife's and my own standards since my wife enjoys cooking and I enjoy entertaining. The professionalism of the YesterTec staff was exceptional. There were times when neither my wife nor I could be at the site, and the YT staff showed their integrity and professionalism. The follow through with details, not to mention the quality of the overall product is in itself exceptional. I highly recommend YesterTec to anyone who might consider undertaking such a remodeling project.
6. From Mississippi; A complete kitchen with antiques mixed in, YT Pieces #21, 22 & 23
When I retired from an executive career (senior VP in the food industry after more than 20 years in telecommunications) and married a soon-to-retire top telecom executive from Atlanta, I never expected to become known as "Charles-Sidney's Yankee wife. The woman who covered a perfectly good brick house with rock."
Now, when neighbors in our rural Mississippi community greet me that way -- I just smile and invite them in to see our unusual stone-covered farm home. One of the oddest and most attractive features of the home is what folks call my "hidden kitchen".
Following an almost total renovation of my husband's farm home, I called the YesterTec company in Pennsylvania (I spotted it in an ad) and ordered a complete kitchen by phone. It arrived by truck and was popped into place just two days before we moved in -- complete with cabinets, sink and all appliances. Not only did this stir up great curiosity, but most people didn't even "see" the kitchen when they were standing in it: It's all tucked into homey honey-colored cabinets that almost pose as antique furniture.
As an avocation and partly due to a geographically challenging career, I've designed, built and rebuilt a total of 30 homes, including the farm house and our waterfront home at Sailfish Point in Stuart, Florida. Both our homes are very much out of the mainstream in terms of design.
Home design and interior decorating on a small and grand scale have allowed me opportunities to test and try many new products and materials over the past several decades. My favorite "ready-made" is my YesterTec kitchen.
7. From New Jersey: Accent pieces for a remodeled kitchen, YT pieces # 75 & 76
My husband and I own a Victorian house and have always renovated with authenticity in mind. In the kitchen, we also had to be practical. We chose YesterTec because we liked the idea of hiding appliances and the cabinets are true pieces of furniture. The quality of the products is outstanding and David was very patient with us through the design, purchasing and delivery phases. When we needed a replacement door, it was cheerfully replaced. My intention is to continue replacing the old cabinets with YesterTec products and we'll be in touch soon!
8. From North Carolina: A complete kitchen with antiques mixed in.
It's been nearly 4 years now since I've purchased piece nos. 25, 26 and 27 from YesterTec for my kitchen. I still have people come in and say "Wow! Is this a kitchen?"
YesterTec provides a unique experience for the consumer by allowing them to take part in the creativity and design of each piece. When combining the many styles and colors offered with a person's individual taste, each piece is virtually a different piece of furniture like no one else has! Purchasing a product from YesterTec is definitely not like going to a store and picking out a piece of furniture or selecting a basic style and color of cabinets. The consumer is the designer and has the versatility of expanding their room by adding more pieces, one at a time if they like.
YesterTec's products are unsurpassed in quality. Three features which stand out are safety, performance and durability. The safety features meet government standards. The system on which the drawers operate is unequaled in performance. And YesterTec has given much time to the durability and quality of their superb finishes.
Dave Beer, creator of YesterTec's Kitchen Furniture, is a highly esteemed professional in every sense. He takes pride in the quality, function and design of each piece. He is conscientious of minor details and of customer satisfaction. Dave applies no pressure and is very willing to work within your budget to purchase pieces needed. He is easy to reach and responds promptly. He uses excellent shippers and follows up to make sure the pieces are installed correctly for optimum appearance and performance. Dave is always receptive to consumer suggestions for changes or improvements in order to produce a high quality product. The customer's satisfaction is definitely Dave's top priority. From the first conversation of planning with the customer to the last piece delivered and put into place, Dave is personally and patiently involved.
Dave's professionalism and high-quality products team together for a very successful business, now and in the future.
9. From Minnesota: A complete kitchen, YT pieces # 146, 147, 148, 149, 164, 165, and 8
David, You took a very complex decision making process and made it easy and even fun with your creative ideas, and innovative solutions. I had been looking for several years in the U.S. and abroad for kitchen furniture. I was resigned to having it custom made until I discovered your products. Our friends love our 'new' kitchen and I am happy to tell them about the high level of quality and service at YesterTec!
10. From San Francisco: A Working Pantry, YT piece # 325
(To David Beer) I wanted to give you a quick update on the working pantry. It arrived on schedule and the driver was very accommodating, even helping move the pieces into the house. Unfortunately, we (my brother in-law, the driver and me) determined that we couldn’t bring the upper piece up the 10 stairs without risking injury to the pantry or ourselves so we ended up putting it in the garage. The good news is that I’ve been working on a remodel of my home office and have a carpenter who was able to schedule some time to come over on Saturday to put it together – it looks wonderful (though it appears as if the lower left door cracked but it’s not really noticeable unless you are looking for it).
I’ve attached a couple of pictures of the unit in its new home – we LOVE it! Thank you for all of your hard work and artistry.

A couple of notes for you – one on a missing piece and the other points are feedback on the whole process.
· The light that was sent doesn’t have a cord (and there is no hole cut for the cord, but my carpenter will make one in an appropriate spot, could you send one to me when you have a chance?
· Shipping/Delivery
oYou did a really good job of letting me know what to expect regarding delivery. As help to future customers, I think that reiterating a) the size of the truck, b) the fact that there is no gate to lower the pieces (so one may have to lift over one’s head) and c) the truck has no dolly in it.
§ On the size – you really prepared me for the size and when the driver called, I told him how big the moving truck I used was and that reassured him that a truck of that size could fit on the streets (which isn’t the case in a lot of San Francisco).
§ Gate height – if I had to do it again, I’d have gotten a few more helping hands.
§ Regarding the dolly, honestly, I would have purchased/rented a furniture dolly just to help with maneuverability (and the garage storage – though we improvised with boards under the unit).
oI think my only advice would be if you know the approximate weight of the unit – that would help in determining how many people are needed to move and assemble each piece.
· Assembly
oAgain, you explained everything pretty well. The only things which seemed unclear when we were assembling it were;
§ Where the light should go including where the cord would go through the back (but I think since the light came later, maybe you forgot to make a hole for the cord?)
§ How to connect the top to the bottom (ok, this wasn’t obvious to me, but my carpenter figured it out pretty easily)
§ What the extra pieces were
· Several thin strips
· Trim pieces - assuming those go around the marble top (but they are not cut to size or at an angle to fit together so it’s not something I would be comfortable doing)
So, all in all – you did a great job preparing me for what needed to be done. I have to admit though that I was still overwhelmed and was really grateful that my carpenter was available to handle the assembly. And that’s the reason I thought I’d send you this feedback, not as criticism, of course, but to give you an idea of what went on over here. Hopefully you can use the feedback for future long-distance customers who may have um, well, pretty weak carpentry/building skills like me. J
Ok, that’s my update for you. I hope you like the pictures. Let me know about the light cord and thank you again for everything.
11. From Stone Mountain, Georgia: A complete kitchen, YT pieces #293,294,295,304,307,308
Hello David,
We continue to LOVE our kitchen. It not only looks great, and ages graciously, but it works perfectly. A cooking station allows for so many things: cooking, last minute prep, serving of dishes, and often as a buffet to display dishes. Marble is holding great. Only stain is from our cat Squicky, who one night overindulged in stealing from uncovered dishes on the stove and got sick from overeating. When we discovered the accident, it already etched the marble slightly, but we do not worry. Cherry wood used for the counter top is richer with age and personalized with Newman scratches. Would not go back to granite countertops, this is so much warmer... Hanging open shelves are overflowing with everyday china and coffee cups. Ice Box station is perfect... We both love our pantry, it provides storage and a place to assemble great sandwiches, roll pastry, and make a bread dough. And appliances are not only invisible, but so quiet. I did not realize how much noise was in our previous kitchen until we lived with this one. Stove fan is fantastic, and totally silent. Everyone loves the kitchen, so we brought two rocking chairs from the living room and sit here with our guests. Our little kitchen table hosted some wonderful dinners.
Thanks, Spomenka and Bob

PS. I forgot to tell you that our Pepper loves the working pantry best, because it houses his favored Milk Bone cookies. I am so glad that paint is scratch resistant, because he jumps and scratches pantry doors trying to reach his treats. You probably did not think of this when you imagined who are going to be potential consumers of your beautiful. Pesty Peppi and sneaky Squicky.
